Summer went fast. I defended my Masters thesis in May, and within a few days I moved to Alaska to start a job with the National Park Service. I'm living and working in Lake Clark National Park, a little-known but incredibly sweet place in southwest Alaska. I'm working as the park geologist until Thanksgiving. It's a challenging position, but it just might be the best job I ever have. Check out my research page to read more about it.
